How do we make sense of the distance between our ideals and our reality? Damon and Daniel lead a teach-in exploring how Respair creates an anticolonial practice of media-making and archive-building built on dialectical dialogue that supports radical transformation, and the unique importance of media in the fight for a liberatory future.
Participants gain hands-on tools to navigate power dynamics in their own spaces and dialogues and engaging media experiences that foster their radical imaginations. The workshop can take place in-person or virtually.
Live Hosting & Performance
Irresistible – AirGo curates and performs a concert featuring Damon and Daniel on the mic and DJ’ing, as well as a roster of Chicago-based rising musical stars.
Gala/Fundraiser hosting and DJing – Damon and Daniel host and DJ your organization’s gala or fundraiser, bringing a unique energy to the event and getting your prospective funders on the dancefloor!
AirGo Live – Daniel and Damon host your “in conversation with” style live event with an author, performer, or public figure, and then publish the audio as an episode of AirGo.
